So far, we have partnered with three leading organizations – World Bank, ICCCAD, and CEGIS – to build together a greener economy for Bangladesh.

The World Bank Group is a unique global partnership fighting poverty worldwide through sustainable solutions. It is working towards seeking a development path that supports growth while focusing more on sustainability and ensuring that the environment is a key enabler for green, more-inclusive growth. The World Bank Group’s Environment Strategy 2012-2022 lays out an ambitious agenda to support “green, clean, resilient” paths for developing countries, as they pursue poverty reduction and development in an increasingly fragile environment.

The PRI is collaborating with the World Bank Group for examining and developing the country diagnostics of Bangladesh and structuring an Engagement Strategy for Building Back a Greener Bangladesh.

The International Centre for Climate Change and Development (ICCCAD) is one of the leading research and capacity building organisations working on climate change and development in Bangladesh. ICCCAD’s aim is to develop a world-class institution that is closely related to local experience, knowledge and research in countries that are most affected by climate change.

The Center for Environmental and Geographic Information Services (CEGIS) is a center of excellence that spans over Resource Management Planning (Natural and Intellectual), System Development, Capacity Building and Research activities. It is an organization aimed at achieving green environment, blue water and balanced development for better well-being of the nation. The entity is strengthened with an organized pool of experts and resources to serve humanity by excelling in the state-of-the-art technology in resource management planning, system development, study and research and capacity building.
